Further to the Government lock down announcement England Hockey have confirmed that all but elite level hockey will stop until December 4th.
This is obviously disappointing but we have been very fortunate to be one of the few sports that have actually been allowed to train and play competitively up to now. Thank you all, players, coaches and parents, for following all the COVID procedures we have asked of you and ensuring Towcester Hockey Club has been a safe environment to train, play and socialise. There will be no more training after Wednesday 3rd November but hopefully we will be able to resume from December 4th. All being well we will continue training up to and including Thursday 17th December.
Senior matches will have to be rearranged so please keep the December and January Saturdays that currently don’t have fixtures free for postponed games.
The Wednesday rota for helping Sammy with the 3s, 4s and 5s will be redone but if you’re down for the December dates they won’t change.
Please keep an eye on all our communication channels for any updates and let’s hope for full resumption in December and a positive outcome for the country in terms of controlling this virus!Stay safe, look out for each other, come back raring to go.
