Code of Ethics & Behaviour and Concussion Policy

The Code of Behaviour outlines the expected levels of behaviour for everyone involved in hockey. Although we are responsible for setting standards, each member of the hockey family has a responsibility to ensure equal access and opportunity for all.

Towcester Hockey Club has adopted England Hockey Safeguarding Young People Policy and Procedures, Equality Policy and Code of Ethics and Behaviour (Respect).

Does the code apply to me?

Yes! If you are involved in the game at any level, then the code applies to you.

What is the purpose of the code?

England Hockey is responsible for setting the standards and values that apply at every level. By sharing the code across the sport, we believe we can uphold the highest standards of integrity and ensure that the reputation of the sport is – and remains – at a high level.

The code is split into relevant sections, depending on your role. Click below to visit each one:

Breaches of the code

Details of how to report breaches of the code can be found on pages 20-21 in the full respect document above.
